Yes, you should always order them, metal ones, if possible, keeps wheel centered on hub

TireRack, Discount Tire, etc...

What is the center bore size on your wheels?
If it's already for 56.1mm, no need.

Pro Race wheel need rings. Check the Team Dynamics website they may have the bore size.

I can check some books for the info if you can't find it

Do you remember what size rings the TDR PR1's need? Probably going to be placing my order on a set this weekend, so I'd like to get the centric rings at the same time.

Thanks Sid, got the hub-centric ring thing figured out...

Only one more question... (I should really come up with all of these at once )

I noticed you don't have the center cap on your TDR PR1's. Do they not fit?

Hopefully, that's all

PR1's produced after 2003 were made with a inner on the inside of the center bore that will accept center caps.

But if I recall in my conversation with Team Dynamics they only make one style cap for the PR1's

unfortunatly for me I have the older style. So, I don't get caps.

I tried to scope around for a simple domed chrome cap but no one has one and TRDs are extra/not very attractive. In the end, I prefer less:smile:

So I almost understand offset...I'm getting there. But what is the difference between a 38mm and a 45mm offset?

The TDR Pro Race 1's I've tracked down thru a seller near me only has them in a 38mm offset. I didn't even know they came in a 38mm offset, I've only ever seen them in a 45mm offset.

That's 7mm difference outwards. I was told that too when order but they came 45ET. With a 5mm spacer, I brought them out to 40ET. 38ET could cause you problems if you run low and use 215-225 tires:smile:

If you bought them from us they are included in the price of the wheels.

Aaron, the ones that came with my TRDs were plastic...not good. Metal rings held a tighter tolerance and got rid of the vibrrations.

I know this goes a ways back but just for FYI and anyone out there searching or doing a search for the bore size of a Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 size 17x7 the bore size of the wheel is 73.1mm.

The MINI bore size is 56.1mm
