WedsSport Wheels

I saw these wheels and thought these would look great on my hb/b car. I haven't heard of these wheels before. Does anyone know any more info about these? Thanks

I love the look of these wheels, but i have never seen a Mini with them. You can get them through Wheel Options http://www.wheeloptions.com/main.html/ Post pics if you get them.

What a strange coincidence - I had never heard of Wedsport until I was looking into wheels online yesterday. Funny timing to see it pop up today

Those particular ones remind me of BBS RKs

You guys are going to carry them? Let us know when you get specs and pricing. I'd like some 16x7 in black (if they make them). Thanks.

Hopefully cheaper than ssr comps! And in BLACK PLEASE!!!!!! And for the Mini and the Evolution!

Thanks Alex, for showing love to the forums, and posting, unlike other vendors that ignore the forums, just want to advertise statically.

Look into Advan RG wheels... nearly identical, yet still costly. Available in white, silver, and bronze. Suddenly, SSR Comps look like knocks.

Ah, WedsSport TC-005s, my all time favorite wheels. I've looked into buying them a few times but always went another way due to prices. I've been after 17x7.5 (14.2 lbs) and they can be had in 4-100 at various offsets, but the best price I could find was something like $460 ea. They are SSF (semi-solid forged) like the SSRs. Here are a few weights.

15x6.5 10.2lbs
15x7.0 10.7
15x7.5 11.0
16x7.0 12.7
16x7.5 13.2
16x8.0 13.9
17x7.0 13.8
17x7.5 14.2
17x8.0 14.9
17x8.5 15.3
18x7.5 16.8
18x8.0 17.7
18x8.5 17.9

Their website is mostly Japanese, but there are some good pics.

$460? Ouch. I mean, they are great looking and the weights are nice, but considering you can get SSR Competitions for almost $100 less ea., Gram Light 57s for $200 less, and Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's for almost a quarter that price, it makes it hard to justify. But oh, how I'd love to find a way to justify it...they are sweet looking.

Yup, but when I bent and broke my third Comp the clue light finally came on and I decided to give up on them. I suppose the other reason I didn't splurge on the Weds is they are also SSF and I'm now a little leary of lightweight SSF wheels.

Another idea for the economy minded might be the Ro-Ja LT-5 . 17/ 7 14.5 lbs and I can get them delivered to your door for $600 for the SET. They are closing out that line which is why the normal price of 340 per wheel has been dropped quite a bit. I can still get them in white, silver or bronze. PM me if interested.
