It's been a while since I posted a picture of my car with a different set of wheels. Here it is with 205/50/17 Potenzas on 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1s!

Thanks for the pic!!! My CR/B should be here in mid-Feb. and I'm putting those same wheels on mine!!! What's the offset? 45?

 

Yeah I am planning on getting those same wheels for my CR/B S once I save up some more money. Probably be my spring wheels once the weather turns good again.

 

Thanks for all the compliments! They are at an offset at 45, I believe. A little bit wider stance than stock.. I haven't lowered my car, but I do a some slight rubbing if i hit a bump too hard. I guess it's the 205/50 tires plus the adjusted offset. Some have said it doesn't make my car look 'cute' anymore, but I didn't get it to look cute, I got it to handle. :D

Why'd you choose a taller-than-stock tire size?

 

Hey Jim! Yes, I bought them from Jacques over there at BBM. He's a great guy.. He installed my H-sport rear sway and those wheels. Took about a week or so for them to come in last November (from purchase to install, maybe two business weeks), and I think they're bedded in now.. I'll probably do more of my business with him, seeing as he's on the only performance MINI guy in the area that I know of. Ah well.

I was going to get 205/45, but Jacques recommended I get a slightly taller tire, since it would cushion it a little bit more (Mine's a daily driver, with crappy east bay roads, ugh). He said he recommends the Potenzas in 205/50 to all his customers (the MINI ones). It is softer, but of course I'm comparing it to my boat anchors with runflats. I was originally going to get 205/45 Bridgestone KDW2s.. Maybe next, we'll see.

 

Thanks for posting those pictures! I have a LY/B car and I've been wondering how the black Team Dynamics would look.
