I got these from another board member over the weekend and I absolutely love the style of the wheel (ro-ja) but I am not sure about the color with red paint. I plan to replace the rotors and paint the calipers in the near future, as well as detailing the hubs in black. My original plan was to have them powdercoated white but a few people in my office talked me into mounting them as is. Should I have the white powdercoating done? I mounted my good condition runflats (Pirelli Euros) on them so I might use them as is until the runflats wear out then have them painted white when I switch tires. I am just back and forth about the color with the red. What do you guys think?
By the way, these weigh just over 14 lbs each and make a huge difference in acceleration on the butt dyno.
Oh, and I need to lower the car. The ride height looks good with the stock rims, but not these!
In my opinion, those wheels would look better in white (or a standard alloy/silver). I think the current color blends too much with the black wheel arch trim, and it doesn't do much.
In white, they will work nicely with your white roof and stripes!

OK, the plan is to lower the car, tint the windows, upgrade the brakes, and look for center caps. when it is time to change the tires I will re-evaluate the wheel color.
I agree! I got some anthracite AT wheels with my snow tires and was somewhat disappointed with the look. I much prefer the look of my silver OZ Superleggeras and can't wait for spring!
I have tinted windows on my CR/W Cooper and don't think it helps the look of the anthracite wheels.
They don't look good on the car. The MINI is rounded, while the wheels are comprised of jagged lines. However, if you're into performance, at 14lbs who cares how they look?
