Extended lug bolts do not fit with my aftermarket rims, would appreciate help.

Hey guys, I recently bought some 5mm spacers for my '09 R56. I have Motegi Racing Mr125 rims and the 5mm extended lug bolts that I received from ECS tuning does not fit my wheels and I can't seem to figure out which lug bolts that I need to buy. I have contacted both ECS and Turner Motorsports but they said that they couldn't help me. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Don't know, but did you pm the ECS contact here on NAM? He is pretty responsive to issues.

Hello, I can help you. Sorry our guys could not help you. Since we dont carry Motegi they did not know where to start. We had some people use tuner lugs in the past, but I dont know if it will fit that exact wheel style. But you need 14x1.25 x27 + 5mm so 14x1.25x 32, let me contact some people and get back to you.
Its the head of the Bolts correct? What bolts did you have before and what size is the head?

Correct, it is the head of the bolts that are not fitting into my rim correctly. The lip on the bolts is too big. I honestly do not know the size of the bolts that I have, I got them from tire rack back in 2015 when I bought the wheels. I can measure them later once I'm off of work if that will help though.

Looks like you may need tuner lug bolts. Some aftermarket wheels have smaller bolt holes that can't accommodate OEM bolt heads. Tuner lug bolts have a smaller diameter bolt head and a special tool that fits over the bolt head or even inside it, Some examples

After googling what tuner lug bolts look like, I am definitely running those currently.

Yeah that is totally fine. Just let me know and I'll definitely pick them up from you guys. Just to clarify, these will be the tuner style bolts in the 14x1.25x32 specification right?
