That was a preproduction wheel that never made it to the finished product. The picture on the cover was a publicity photo that MINI gave out shortly before the car was publicly released.

Edited by DiD: looks like Davbret beat me to the punch, but here's the pic anyway

That is a great looking wheel, someone needs to produce it in multiple finishes, that is the wheel that I want for my MCS. I have a wheel very close to that on my other car now and it looks GREAT!

Hi there,
What wheel(s) would this be (that is close to that). Curious as I also agree this would look great on the MC/S but failing that there is always the compomotive / speedline / prodrive route.

Forgive my photoshop skills but how's this look? Of course there is no guarantee that Raceline will make this wheel in the 4x100 correct offset and size but there is a chance

come on they look pretty close (lol). Actually upon seeing the skinny size of the 18" tires I think I would much prefer 17" with a drop in spring height. So I'll continue the search for 17x7.5 / 8 with a good offset for brakes etc.

Does raceline prodce this kind of wheel in a 16" configuration? I really want to maintain the ride of my MCS, so I'm hesitant to go to a bigger sized wheel. Thanks!

The TE37s by VOLK are pretty close...they have 1 less spoke though. They are extremely light, extremely strong, but also extremely expensive. I believe 400+ for 16" fit.

Also check out the Centerline RPMs - similar look...again strong and light...but unlike the volks - much more affordable. Pics can be found in DaveNagy's Personal Gallery on MINI2.

In my opinion - they look DAMN sweet
