215/60r17 snow tires 2015 countryman

Does anyone know or is anyone currently running these size tires on their countryman 215/60r17. I can get a good deal on 4 but only want to grab them if they will fit.

Let ya know how everything turns out.

Just to confirm your tire size is almost 1" taller than Myro's.

I know, at first I didn't realize that Myro was running 55's. Do you know if the 215/60's will fit a 2015 countryman on the stock 17in wheels?

Great to know, Your 215/70's are only 27.1".

@ bmwr606, do you think you could accommodate the 1/4" more width on each side?

I am checking with my tech team on this one as well.

Looks like clearance is pretty close when turning lock to lock. We get as close as 18mm. Not much room for packed snow or ice.

205/75R16 front tires rubbed at less than full lock with 4 - 200 pound plus guys sitting in the car ... car was sitting on the front bump stops

the rears rubbed when 2 more 200 pound plus guys sat in the open boot .. car was sitting on the rear bump stops

no rubbing under the same conditions with the 205/70R16 tires

i have not had a problem with packed snow/ice limiting steering with the 205/70R16s
