Hi! I have a set of JCW 18" alloys, with 215/35-18 tires. Am going to put on a set of new tires, and am wondering if this is the best size tire for the wheels? The sidewall is very narrow. Would it be ok to install 40 or 45 size sidewall variation?

 

I'm currently running 205/40/18 Pirelli RFT's. When these are ready to go, i'm planning on picking up Yokohama S.Drives in 215/40/18 (Non Runflats). I've read others have run this size with no issues. I just want a little more sidewall for rim protection.
