Installing larger wheels?

I'm about to get my first Mini (a Clubman). If I want to switch to larger wheels (16" or 17" from the standard 15"), is it a straightforward bolt-off, bolt-on, or are there adapters or some other modifications needed?

Its a straight forward swap, if you get wheels which have the right bolt pattern etc.

Are you getting replacement sensors too for the TPMS?

Haven't gotten that far yet. The original sensors can't be reinstalled?
