Looking for advice on tire replacement please
I have a 2009 Clubman S currently with the stock all weather run flats 205/45 R17 with 28k miles on them.
I will admit I know very little about tires. I did kinda like the ride of these tires (although the wife's 2009 Cooper has a bit smoother ride, but to be expected) but with pot holes and 28k miles they need to be replaced.
I did have a couple of instances where the run flat did come in handy and think I will stick with RFs. I live in Central IL so all weather is preferred, I don't want to swap out tires when the snow hits. (I LOVE the idea of 2 sets, but I just don't have time anymore to have THAT much fun)
I looked on Tirerack.com and Dicscounttiredirect.com for some tires, but again not knowing much about them it is all foreign to me (I am a Sys Admin, ask me about IT!).
I am looking for good run flat replacement suggestions, using the rims that came with the car, all weather, and 50k miles. I don't mind buying online and having my local shop mounting them for me. Price isn't really a consideration but I don't want to go crazy.
Any help will be appreciated.

It is all based on a number of factors.
1 Where you live(probably the biggest one as weather effects the rubber compound)
2 Drving style
3 How long do you want them to last(are you just driving to and from work, is there a little bit of autocross or are ou street racing everywhere you go)
There are a lot of other things people look at like weight, tread pattern, and other such detials.
I am currently running BFGoodrich G-Force KDW IIs. This is the 1st tire in almost 10 years that I am buying a second set of. There are all kinds of tires out there and there is a lot of people here and all over the place that know a lot and will be able to help you.

1) Central IL, temps are hot right now, but Dec-Feb snow can get minimal to 2 feet deep. That is why I am looking for all weather.
2) I drive 25% highway, 70% country roads, 5% city roads. Since the Mini is so fun, I always drive aggressively. Country road turns really fire me up as they are pretty fun.
3) to and from work is most of the driving. about 120 miles each day round trip. No street racing/no autocross (it is a shame, but just don't have time). I plan to have the car 2.5 years probly and drive 15k a year but don't want to sell it with bald tires. (I always care about the next owner)
Thanks for the reply!
See if these are anything that might fit you fancy.
