R56 tire recommendaion

hi all,
Im looking for performance tires rim size is 17" what do you guys recommend ? i want it to be comfortable because this is my daily driver and ones that would last quite a while . thanks :D

I have 2 ideas for you :

205/45/17 sportier of the 2 Yokohama Avid Envigor 60k

The smoother riding of the 2 General Altimax Hp 55k

good info , how about a tire wheel winter package for my JCW 2010?
Im thinking 205/50/17

Op, you can consider 215/45 17 size as well. Makes the ride a little more comfy with slightly higher sidewalls. Also in addition to what alex recommended, you should consider a performance tire, such as the conti DW.

If you're looking for a year round, all season, high performance tire I'd recommend the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus in 215/45 ZR17. They're quiet, don't track and stick hard in all kinds of weather. I've got 18K on mine and am so impressed that I'll be getting another set when these eventually wear out. BTW, they come with a 45K tread warranty!
