Miro 279 wheels & NM Engineering Springs

Let the mods begin.

Miro 279 wheels. 17x7.5" 35mm offset. I'm surprised by how little they weigh. Going to powder coat them flat black.

NM Engineering Springs - 1.2" drop.

How much do they weigh?
I was told they are 22 lbs for 17 wheels and that's was the reason I did not get them.
Can't wait for your pictures!

You know i did weigh them on my electronic scale and they are around 22lbs. I was actually surprised by the weight because they feel lighter. I'm not tracking them so I'm good.

I'll keep you posted.

No, not yet. It's an excruciating wait for my friend to decide when he wants to help me install them. Probably sometime in January. Then i have to paint the wheels black. Another more excruciating waiting....

I will post when i do.

So ahhhh, finally!

Hey everyone,

Finally got around to installing my Miro Type 279 on my 2008 Mini Cooper S. They've been sitting around for about a year. I know, i know... a year!! Something else always comes up right? But, finally. Installed. Looks MEAN. Which was intended.

Wheels - 17x7.5 Miro Type 279 Powder Coated Flat Black. I replaced the plastic rivets that the wheels came with. I don't really like that look. I would prefer these wheels with no rivets whatsoever, but i got some flat head ones at Home Depot, drilled out the plastic rivets and installed the new ones. Still rivets, but better in my opinion.

Tires - Hankook Ventus V12 Evo

Suspension - NM Engineering RS Alpha Spring Kit - Which are amazing by the way

I'm extremely late to your questions, haha... but which where you referring to? The wheels or springs?

I bought them both from http://www.outmotoring.com/

The NM Springs are awesome. I'd say the best springs I've ever purchased. Perfect ride height on all sides. Best of all these feel stock.
