Advice/Preference for Black rim.

Hey guys/gals. I have been pondering on buying a set of wheels for my new 2009 Mini S and I'm torn between what direction I should go with.

I know it's a matter of personal opinion and all but I was hoping to gauge some advice and preferences from the population.

I know that I want to go the route of black rims but haven't decided if I want to go with a solid black rim or a chrome lip/ring. Speaking of the lip, do you think a flush wheel would look better or the lip?

I have a British Racing Green with solid black rook and bonnet stripes.

I was looking for something along the lines of this:

I have tried to find some rims that look similar to this but always run into the issues with the chrome lips or a red stripe on it >_<;;

Preferable I want to go with 18 inches and not tooo pricey and look good with low profile tires (looking at the Toyo T1Rs)

Any advice/recommendations you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and happy motoring.

I am not 100% sure of that as I am pretty confident the Breytons are made in Germany, regardless of origin they are TUV approved which is more than most if not all american wheels can claim. I have a set of 18's on mine and I love them. That being said dont get them! I like having unique wheels!

The point is not the TUV approval. It's the $118/month pay for those workers.

Weird, when I was configuring them at tirwrack's website they only gave the 17inch as an option... unless maybe they don't have the 18inches available. I don't think there is any additional adjustments to the car to be made when going for 18inches.

EDIT: Correction those were showing the 17inch GTS-R Mini.... but the regulars should still fit though right?

Tire Rack wont sell you 18's for the R56. Its BS I had to go through a 3rd party to assume tire racks liability in order to get them. Tire Rack claims the wheel wont clear the caliper and that the lug holes are to small. Both claims are incorrect as I have 'Zero' problems with mine.

Jmusic - I am pretty sure they are made in Germany, mine were on back order and the shipment came from Germany. What facts do you have that state they are made in China?
