Hi joncates,

If you track my threads and replies you'll see that I take every opportunity to be funny. Seriously, NAM is a great resource, and you'll find great threads on tire and wheel recommendations. I kept my stock 17" wheels, and ditched the Dunlop's RF's and replaced them with Bridgestone Protenza's. They were kinda of cheap when I bought them. If memory serves me correct I paid less than $600 for the tires, hazardous "guaranty", and liftime wheel alignments at the local Bridgestone shop. If you go that route I would also suggest you buy the $20 Slime kit for piece of mind.

Minis didn't come with run flats when there was a Republican in charge.

Oops. Forgot no political statements here.

How 'bout: "Friends don't let friends drive run-flats"?

I'm firmly convinced that the most important upgrade any of us can do is to get rid of the run-flat tires.

Bridge Stone Potenza

Steve - thxs - I'll go with the BridgeStone. Not sure If I'll spring for the 17 inch or stick with 16?? However Id like to go for some Black - aka KULE rims.
Do U keep one for a spare?? Is the 17 inch Really worth buying the new Rims??

That being said...

That being said, I have 2 very low milage 205/45/Z17's in my garage for very low investment if you want another 25K to make a tire decision ... or just want to smoke um....
