Couldn't take it anymore... gloss black it is.

My street wheels are 18" OZ Ultraleggra's. They come in a satin black.

This is what it looked like...






Today, I took my wheels off and powdercoated them in gloss black. I had a painted red pinstripe put on the outside edge.








Not a night and day difference but at least they don't look dirty all the time. I still left my 17" OZ's track wheels in satin.

At least these should be easier to keep clean.

very nice!

I think a yellow pinstripe would have been slightly preferable for your car, but for mine, the red stripe is perfect

Originally I installed a yellow stripe. It looked okay with the car but red calipers, it looked bad.

So red it is....

I really like it, I'm not big on black wheels unless they have something like your red stripe. Can understand the clash between the yellow stripe and red brake.
