Doesn't seem to work for me Don't know if the wheels appear too small or the tyres look too big or it's just the wheel gap

Like the look. Just can't come to grips with what BBS charges for wheels!

Sweet MINI !!

And yeah, I agree with the others. In fact, every R56 or R57 should come with a certificate for free lowering. They all need it.

Looks great. I'm with the others, grab some coilovers and drop it 2 inches

Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The R-50s, 52s, and 53s look just fine as they are. They sit an inch or two lower then the 56/57.

If I lowered any of mine, I wouldn't be able to get out of my driveway in the winter.

It's been measured. The second gen cars only sit an inch higher. The first gen cars all still came with tons of wheelgap. Wheelgap looks bad on all cars any year or model.

Ha... there's not TONS of wheel gap. The R56/57 looks like a 4-wheel drive SUV out of the factory. The first gens surely do not.

SprintA3, great MINI and a wonderful color combination. The wheels really accent it nicely.

I think I like this combination of top color with PW best.

What did you do for the interior combination?

Nice pictures, more if you have them of the interior.

Any other mod plans? If you don't go coils, go with a modest drop TSW works.

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. I agree this car does need coilovers, but it is actually my mom's car believe it or not. She let my dad and I mod it a bit, and as you can see we went a little overboard

But since it is her daily driver, it won't be lowered. KW's would really do the trick though. I might be able to convince her to go with a modest drop, but I doubt she would want to drive a lowered car.

The blue A3 with CH's is my car and is getting dropped with Teins later this week.

The interior is Hot Chocolate brown, it really looks great. We also added a lot of JCW carbon fiber interior bits. I'll post some interior pics and top down pics next time I get a chance.

I love those wheels. Maybe you can get her to use springs instead of coils.

if you ask me it needs black or carbon mirror covers, and a blacked-out grill to get it looking a little meaner. with those race-bred wheels your mom i think would appreciate the look.
