Rim opinions wanted

Hi everyone,

I'm almost ready to take the leap and get some aftermarket rims for my car and I would like some opinions of the brands I've chosen.

My first choice is the ICW Racing Fusion 447mb below in 17 x 7.5, offset 42 or 45, weight 21 pounds. I'm told that hubcentric rings are needed but I forgot to ask if tuner lugs are needed. Sorry for the big picture...

My second choice is the Enkei Evo 6. 17 x 7, 42 offset, 18 1/2 pounds .

Can you see a theme here? I like the chrome or machined/polished look. I really like the look of the 2006 JCW wheels too. I also like the 2009 factory JCW wheels but I want something that is easier to clean than Crown Spokes. I don't care if the back of the rim is black and, in fact I prefer it. I won't compromise on the outside face of the rim being shiny though. I would rather avoid having to use tuner lugs, spacer rings and so forth. My car is a 2007 MCS with the sport suspension and sport package.

Any other rim suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The first ones are cool - can't see the second ones. The first ones remind me kind of like the RS4 (Audi wheels)

You will need hub rings and tuner bolts on both of the wheels you are interested in.

The first ones almost look like fake Porsche 911 turbo wheels, i like them though!

I vote for the first one!

Thanks Leo. Can you tune me in on what exactly they mean by tuner bolts? Is that just a socket head cap screw instead of a hex head cap screw? Care to give me a discount on the Enkei Sc05 (sbc) rims?

I disagree. Minis have wheels, Cadillac Escalades have a thick film of dust because no one can afford to drive them!

Tuner bolts are slimer than normal lug bolts because they need to be when a wheel is double drilled (meaning two bolt patterns). Normal lug bolts won't fit on the bolt holes because they are too thick so tuner are slimmer to fit on double drilled wheels. I hope that helps. As for that discount, that si the best price I can do at the moment for those wheels. Thats a nice finish.
