18x7.5 ET40 and lowering??

Hi!!

I have found a set of rims with deminsion 18x7.5 ET40 to my MCS -04... Planing to use 215/35/18 tires..

Anybody know if it will fit with 30mm lowering springs??

Please help me... Have looked aurond in the forum but haven't found any answers...

Yes, it should fit.

If you need more clearance in the rear you can use more rear negative camber- add adjustable lower control arms.

So in front you absolutely think it will fit??

how much do adjustable lower control arms cost?? do you got any sites??

Using 215/35-18 or 225/35-18 tires you should be fine with moderate lowering 1" front and rear.

Again, more negative rear camber will increase clearance if needed.

Don't use tires that are taller than stock 24.3" tire diameter.

Rear lower control arms-

From $190 to $247 per pair. Weights and appearance vary, they are functional, only lower control arms need upgrade to adjust for rear negative camber.

my stock tires are 205/45/17. so i would put this tires on.

Both should fit fine.

I was running 18x8 et 38mm lowered 30-33mm - fine.
Now running 18x7.5 et42 (but with 5mm spacers upfront so effectively et 37mm) lowered 30-33mm - fine.

I had 18" 7,5J with an offset of 37... NO rubbing and lowered about 6cm's

I say EASY!!!

had 1cm spacer mounted... It fitted but was tooo much...

so I say EASY!! :D

Thanks for all your answers... I think i'm going to by the wheels now:D
And maybe buy adjustable lower control arms if it rubbs...
