My question is this....I wanna go 17x7, but I what kind of offset would I need?

Thanks in advance peeps!

Bolt pattern is 4x100. Centerbore is 56.1mm. (you may need a centering ring to fit wheels not designed for the MINI onto the car).

The MINI 17 by 7 S-lites have a 50 offset
The MINI 17 by 7 R90s have a 48 offset

And yes, I'm getting spoiled with L.Mini mod posts.

PS...yeah the wheels I am most likely getting are not designed for the MINI.

back to the wheels a couple questions:

Have you seen any wheel designs that you like so far? ( check out the Tirerack Upgrade Garage link on the very front page of MCO)

What are you thinking about doing for tires?

I've narrowed it down to 2. Here are the contenders:

The 2nd ones are not available in a 50 offset though, which sucks if that is what I need because I am leaning towards them.

Does anyone else have aftermarket wheels that are a different offset than 48/50? Is that even possible? The offset for the Konigs is 40.

According to a post that alex at tirerack made the 17 by 7 offsets they recommend for MINI go down to 40.

I like the first set though.

I clean my wheels constantly anyway, so it won't be a big deal. I am going to go with the HT3s. The main reason being I don't want something with a universal bolt pattern. Also I am more fond of tirerack than discount tire.

Grey baby! I was talking to Ivan earlier and he said the exact thing that I was thinking when I chose them...the color reminds me of my shadow stripes.
