yea i painted the lips myself. Im not a big fan of the center caps, but i replaced the stickers with mini ones but i just never put them on...maybe i will this spring? I'll look for unedited pics. I know I have one wen its rolling that looks pretty nice

Got the wheels yesterday from craigslist. The tires were a little worn, so I put on some 215/45/17 today. Previously had 205/45/17.

It will eventually be dropped

Thanks. Tenzo stopped making most/all of their wheels in a 18" 4x100. They said there wasn't enough market to warrant still making them since most car companies have gone to a 5 bolt pattern. Of course, not the Mini. They still continue to make them in the 17" 4x100 though. I picked up some of the 18" wheels they had remaining in stock. Of course, I wanted the all black, but they only had the black with the red stripe. These were the wheels I wanted, so I got them at a pretty decent price since they were discontinued and painted over the red stripe with some matching flat black paint. I had the wheels on for a couple of weeks with the red stripe...just did not look good to me so they had to go.

Just letting you know, it might not be easy to find these in an 18" anymore in any color.

sorry if you've already answered this, but stock set up? any spacers and/or dropped? it's a really nice setup, ive got a 2010 JCW almost identical to yours...but black interior. looking at Tenzos (i understand they're hard to find after discontinuing the 18"), OZ Ultraleggera and Breyton GTS R's, all in black. 18"x7.5" or 8"

I have to say I wasn't a fan of those wheels when I first saw them advertised and thought they'd look like crap on a MINI but they look good on your car. Good call on the white as well!

Stock suspension. I already scrape going over things. Hesitant to lower more even though I think it would look better. No spacers. The Tenzo's with this offset stick out a little on their own. They are 18x8s.

I looked at the Breyton GTS Rs and OZ Ultras, but they only make them 7" wide and I needed at least a 7.5" to go to the 225/35/18s. They are a little wider than stock and wanted them to look and ride like they should. I wanted the wider tire otherwise I would probably have gotten the Breytons in all black so I wouldn't have had to paint the red stripe off the Tenzos since the all black Tenzos in my size were all gone.


Just swapped out to the Aero grill kit and plastidipped the rally lights this last weekend. I like it alot better. Progressively de-chroming the car. Next I am blacking out the trim ring.
