My Mini should be here in mid July. I bought the Wilwood Brake Kit, now I need wheels. I'm leaning towards your set. I need to find out if the Wilwood Calipers will fit under the MSR 045 wheels?

Do you know how much the MSR 045 weighs? Have you encountered any potholes? If so, did you check the inner lip for any bends?

Thanks for the extra pics! Your Mini is looking tight!!!!

teebo......what are you trying to reprogram for? The overall diameter of larger wheels with tires will remain the same going from 15 to 16 to 17 to 18 inch wheels. This assuming that you stay within the 3% variance range. The tire ratio changes to accommodate for the larger wheel.

Not the MINI. The ride is greatly improved. It is a firmer ride, but in a good way. The way the car feels now is the way MINI should just build the cars in the first place. I love it. And one more thing -- absolutely no rubbing!!!! It's perfect.

I like that hyper look on the gray!

Finally pulled the trigger on replacement wheels for the original web-spokes. Went to the dark side.

Yeah, I love them so much as well ... have spent so much time looking for light weight dark bronze wheel for couple months and finally found this set and so much in love!!!
However, my wife love silver wheels! Even tho it is my car and some time I need to use her SUV, she still keeps complaining about it every single time she drove it
So to make it easy, I just bought another light weight Breyton silver wheels and just posted these for sale!
Thanks,
-Mike

Not quite sure what it is, but that is a great combo of rim and body color. I normally am not a fan of gold"ish", but looks super sharp with the CR. Great looking MINI!

Wondering how those soon to be for sale rims will look on DS & Matte Black!

Why not something with a polished or brused lip instead of the red lip?

I looked at those Borbet's for awhile, but didn't like how they looked on the *Tire Rack MINI*. Then I saw them in person on a MINI this winter. I'm with CRoth - a very clean wheel.

Nokian Tires on a Mini?

Hey everyone,

I'm wondering what kind of tires to put on my 2008 Mini Cooper S. Anyone have any good suggestions? I have had Nokian tires on other cars and loved them...anyone had any experience with these on a Mini Cooper? My hope is to get the WR-G2 model, but i'm open to any advice.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Wheels

I have 2006 MCS R52 Cabrio - color is BRG. I think a 3-piece wheel with Shiny gold/brass center with chrome or machined lips would look good, but have never seen quite what I want. Most gold centers are dull paint or something. Some of the European cars often have 3 piece wheels with chrome lips.

Has anyone seen or have a link for some vendors? I did happen onto a wheel/rim website once and saw a wheel like this, but have never found that website again. All the wheel vendors I have viewed have mostly "regular" wheels that everyone else has, and very few if any have gold centers except a few dull-looking wheels.

Thanks!
