Just barely fit. Rear ones hit the inner plastic liner on hard bumps, otherwise, no rubbing. The rim offset is perfect for the car. Have 215X40X18 Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires. They end up being slightly taller than stock, and now the speedometer is more accurate - now only 2 MPH fast at 60 vs. 5 MPH fast.

Big tires, stick like glue, even in wet. God-awful fast on corners. I also had a 4-wheel alignment done, and it goes straight and stable - faster-the-better, but turns instantly with any wheel input. I also have Koni-FSDs which make smoother running while stiffer body control.

Those RS's are beautiful there used to be a guy near me with a blue R53 slammed on white on white RS's, the thing was awesome.

 

I'm in Huntington I know that guy. His car is so slammed out its so sick looking

 

Any spacers? any problems with the 35mm offset? Let me know Im about to order these in black

 

Thanks to chilimini81.. I have autocross wheels!! And got my non-destroyed stock tires mounted on them.

In that pic they arent spaced. I currently run a 5MM in the front and a 10MM in the rear. So I have +30 front and +25 rear without problems.

The +35 had no problems at all, just wanted a more aggressive look.

 

Hey guys, just picked up this white 06 Mini, and I dont think the stock rims go very well with it. Any suggestions for replacements?
Or as anyone powder-coated these rims in black on a white Mini?
