Bit off topic, but why do the american cars have the lil red and yellow lights on the wheel arches, and across the pond in the land of oz, we don't have them?
Here in the US all cars are required to have side reflectors, personally im not a fan of them but we have to have them!
I really can't say if it is or isn't, I just found it on the Internet and liked the picture, besides rjtrout2000 said he would love to see a lifted Mini soooooo...... I obliged
These are my new street wheels and tyres, the SSR's now have R-888's for the track.
They are 17x8 Montegi traklite 2's with Pirelli PZero Nero 205/40/17 tyres.

Looks great, I have always liked black wheels against silver/grey.
Okay, here are my recent additions: 18" Sportsmax 006s with 215/40/18 Toyo Proxes 4s. So far, I'm very happy with this set-up. More photos in my gallery.
GARY
Who's coilovers are on your car. Any issues with clearences at all with either setup. What size 888's on your car? Thanks
I now have the cross competion coilovers fom DMH. I had to use 8mm spacers on the Montegi's to clear the stoptec's and 5mm spacers with the SSR's again to clear the stoptec's.
I'm using 205/40/17 R-888's which put down 8" of tread width. There are no tyre rubbing issues at all.
I've been eyeing these, too, but I'm a little concerned with the quality as they're made in China. Do they use regular lug bolts or do they need tuner lugs?
Thanks for showing them on the car, I've been photochopping it to the pic of my car to see how they would look, but nothing beats real pictures.
I finally got a camera and took some pictures last night. It's my first camera so I'm not sure if I resized them correctly. It's been two weeks since it's been washed--the wheels show it more than anything else.
Wheels are 17x7.5, ET40. Tires are 215/40.
Please slam that car. Those LMs look perfect on the R56.
Yokohama AVID w4s 205/40/17 et35 really wanted 30et but I was in a rush nothing a spacer cant fix I know what your thinking Wake 18x8.5 me too but not enough space to clear suspension components. But I really gotta say RUNFLATS SUCK the ride quality, well at least to me is night and day so much more enjoyable. Might have to get some coilovers the M7 springs aren't convincing me too much well have to see how they settle in
Hmm thanks. I'm actually mostly over my 18" wheel craze lol. I'm thinking more along the lines of an ET35 17x9 for the rear. Could you check the amount of space with the suspension components. There would need to be a little over .5" of clearance on your setup for it to be possible.
Looks sweet man. I second your thoughts about coilovers. Get some better pics up!
