Does anyone think these would look ok?

They'd for sure be different, just want to ask if anyone might think they'd be good on a mini:

to answer why i even think this, because i saw a unpainted set on sale... pretty cheap.. and they are suppose to be pretty light... these will be my street wheels though so i want to ask if anyone besides me thinks these'd be a good fit on a mini

oh, they'd be 16 x7

ehh....it's a Nissan thing. Don't think they'd work on much else.

I dont think you could pull them off as well as they are pulled off by the JDM cars. They don't really flow with the MINI style and might look a little odd. One of the euro guys put some on his GTi in hopes of being original....the wheels look dope, but they don't seem to fit with the rest of the car.

i took the liberty of ruining my MCS in GT4, here it is:

it'd certainly be different... price is so good its difficult to pass up... and i will not be painting them yellw or red! these will be my street wheels... and i will be painting them gunmetal most likely IF i buy them... as i got an offer for some old-school RS-Watanabes as well... its gonna be an interesting decision

I think they'd look great. But then I always did have this strange 80's facination with three spoke wheels.

And, no...I don't have them on mine.

I dont think its worth being "different" if the wheels aren't going work....different doesn't always look good. There are thousands of ways to be different....it's not a big deal.

Painting your roof neon pink with kittens all over it would certainly make you "different"....does that mean you want to do that too? :P

On a scale 0-10, I'd give them a 3.5.... But it's your car so get what you like as long as their not those daisy wheels...

I like the minimalistic effect they seem to me to have on a silver or black. Cool photos.

tried them on a mini in forza... looks different but i think the mini needs more overhang or have a more sleeker shape to pull the look off. the work equips looks super nice and the volk te37 isn't that bad on the mini either

Sure. Don't know where folks are getting the "only on a Nissan" or "only on a Japanese car" thing. Yeah, they're different wheels than the "usually accepted" MINI wheels, but so what. Be different than the rest of the flock. If you like 'em, go for it. The photoshopped car above looks pretty groovy.

Read my earlier post. People aren't saying no because they are different....people are saying no because the style just doesn't match up with the car.

People are getting nissan and jdm because these wheels are incredibly popular in those crowds......and they awesome happen to match the styling of those cars.

They look fine.
Seems like less area to clean brake dust off of.

I don't think the contradict the styling of the mini, as some want you to believe. If it fits, wear it.

I don't see how these wheels "don't match up" to the MINI any more that a lot of other wheels. And a lot of the "approved" wheels that people run on MINIs don't match either. Folks around here go apesh*t over BBS LMs, but frankly, those don't "go" with MINI styling either. That's not to say they don't look good on MINIs (although they're not my favorite), but they are very flat and angular looking - they'd "go" well on an '80s car. BBS CVs actually match MINI styling, and look like they could be "factory" wheels, but you hardly ever see them on MINIs.

Sure, I have my own wheel biases, but I don't necessarily like the BBS/Volk/TDR peer pressure either.

ok... different strokes for different folks right? those advans look good, i like them a lot, but if i was shopping for rims that wouldn't be near the top of the list for my mini and i think thats all the other people are saying, no one said they suck or ugly. imo, lm's look the business on street cars and race cars in any decade. but like my first sentence, thats my own opinion so who cares right?
