Dustless Brake Pads...

Anyone know of anybody besides Hawk that sells good dustless pads? I called Hawk and they seem to not really care, customer service was horrible.

Lots of vendors on NAM that sell various brands (including Hawk) that will provide much better service than the manufacturer...

I recommend Aaron at Outmotoring - and I recommend the Hawk ceramics if low dust is your primary motivation.

And note that there's no such thing as "dustless" pads... but "low dust" is very good! And a huge improvement over the hyper-dusty OEM pads.

Well, as far as Hawk goes, they say there are no pads available for the '07 yet...

As far as no dust, I know. But anything compared to the very dusty OEM pads is dustless!

Don't mind LynnEl. Somebody let him outta the dungeon early today.

Don't know who has 07 aftermarket pads yet - Aaron would know if any are available from other vendors...

Funny how the aftermarket street pad manufacturers usually wait until the cars have been out long enough to actual "wear out" pads before they start making 'em...

I asked Jeff at Texas Speedwerks-he's trying to work with Porterfield to come up with something. You might ping him if you're interested so he knows there's more interest.

"let" isn't exactly the word I'd use. I don't understand why my wife has such a hard time setting an alarm clock. Jeez, she's a neuro-scientist, for crying out loud!

Been there. Early alarm syndrome will enhance anyone's latent troll-like tendencies.
