who/what/where classic style Mini wheels

I know I've seen them on some peoples cars, and I am really intrigued by the look of these. The wheel style looks like the alloy wheels from the classic Mini but they are in the larger sizes which fit the new Minis.

Who makes these? Are there several manufacturers offering them? Are they only in 15s? How about 16 or 17? Are they heavy - lots of big spokes could be heavy..

And post a picture of your car if you got em!

There is also the Minilite wheel

They come in 17's are not light at about 22lb a wheel but are very good looking.

I have a set I bought used with Goodyear F1's on them. Never put them on and would be willing to part with them if interested.

I'd like to see the RB's in person and up close but out of all the others that are this style, these look the best to me. I bought Rota Slipstreams a few months ago and really like there fit and finish. I hear the weight on the RB's in a 16 inch will weight in at around 16lbs. My 16 inch Slipstreams weight only 13.5 each which is one reason I went with them. Rotal wheels described as "Royal" have a polished lip.

here are the ASAs - the star shaped center disc is unique to them?

I really like the look, proportion, and center cap of the Rota RBs, but I cold see why they might be heavy. Does not sound too heavy in 17s though.

hmm - will jcw brakes fit in the 16s?

I guess Minilites are the real thing, but I think the center disc looks too big.

Konigs look amazing, but they won't fit over the R56 MCS brakes I'm sure

I'd bet that in that photo, the big wheel is only 13", which would explain the "big" center web.

I was reacting more to the image of the 17" version posted above.

we have the 16" ASA JH6 on my wife's car and they have been great. easy to clean, great looking.

I will soon be getting a set of 15" RB's for mine as well. smaller is better!
