Help! Any ideas as to where I can upload...

... the sucker?

Here it is using vB coding. I hope...

Don't want to have to do it this way for every posting. Is it done as an attachment, perhaps?

All you need to do is use the "Edit Signature" option in your User Control Panel. Keep in mind that you need to keep within the NAM guidelines for signatures... but your image above is 500x100, which is already at the maximum permitted size, so you're good to go with that image!

Yep, it's there, but it's in his post, not in his signature (yet).

Nope still not there.

Upload the image to your member gallery (see link on the left of the NAM page for "My MINI gallery"). Once the image is saved, view it & right click & copy the http:// address of the image. Then look at the top of the NAM page for "Quick links", chose edit signature. Then on the sig page click the "insert image" icon (located almost at the right end of the icons shown), then when the insert image window comes up paste the image address that you copied into there.

That should do it for you (I think that's how but I'm reciting from memory )

I do believe I understand why I can't upload a siggie as a siggie...

... I'm on a Mac.

Just tried the methods explained above using Firefox, Opera, Safari, Netscrape (sic) and the latest (ancient) Mac OS-X version of I.E. Nothing. No option in the various menus and pull-downs for uploading a sig. Had a similar situation on an Audi forum about five years ago.

It's a kind of descrimination if you ask me. Hrumph!

Looks like I'll have to do it the old-fashioned, brute force method...

Thanks for your help folks.

The options are on the actual NAM page not on your browser menu. There are plenty of macs on here with sigs so I know you can do it. MBE one of them will chime in & help you out or you might get more help by starting a new thread in site feed back area & title it to reflect needing mac image uploading help
