R56 Lowering Springs pre-order list

After requests to do so, I am starting a pre-order list for the H&R springs and coilovers. I will make them available straight away, and will be testing as well. Those of you who wish to wait on the test data, you may still sign up to get the units, then check out our evaluation before making a final decision.

Please sign up and make sure your NAM e-mail is the one you currently use, as I will contact you via PM once the units are here. Also, specify interest in either springs or coilovers.

Pricing is still to be determined, but figure less than $300 for sure.

Thanks!
Randy

The H&R lowering springs are the only springs for the R56 currently slated for production. They lower the R56 1.4" front and rear; getting rid of that terrible wheelwell gap from the factory.

Randy: Are the R56 H&R coilovers dampers adjustable?

Not to threadjack here....but how difficult would it be to install these for a first timer? I have mechanical inclination (whatever that may mean) but have never done any work like this on car.

Would i need an arsenal of tools too? Any recommended reading??

They will be here in 1 1/2 weeks - I won't have pics until then. I ordered three sets to start with... The recommended retail is $329 per set, but I won't know final pricing until I get the bill. They may be less than that.

Here is reading on the R53 spring install. It isn't that bad if you are mechanical.

Hope that helps!

Final pricing from WMS - $245 per set. This is about the same as the H&R springs I had available for the R53.

Keep an eye out... they will arrive shortly.

Nice price indeed...I would definitely take one. Do you know the spring rate by any chance? How would the stock shock holding up to the new spring rate?

Thanks,
