I just had the H&R springs I have been staring at in my garage for a month installed tonight.

I met Mario in person for the 1st time at a local gas station about a week ago. At first impression Mario was a great guy. MarioKart is a jaw dropping beast. During our brief encounter he tells me "I can help you install those springs, just come down to Ventura some time and we will knock it out".

Well tonight I took him up on his offer. No lie... He was finished and cleaned up with the whole job in 1.5 hrs!!! No special tools, no spring compressor, just BUTTER....

The car is awesome! The ride is much better than I expected. The handling and dynamics are killer! Not to mention my wife actually likes it. (She harped me for a month, saying "I wont be seen in a lowered MINI, Mr. fast and furious")

Mario's buddy let us use his garage and tools and was also a super cool guy. (Even if he does drive an M coupe).

I just wanted to drop a quick note and thank Mario for his killer work and friendship.

This is just another of many great experiences I have had since joining the MINI alliance.

The pizza I bought us after the install is far from repayment.

Mario and I have been friends for a while. Dave and Mario came all the way to Scottsdale, AZ to do the same for me! I love the drop too!

 

Thanks guys, I becoming an expert at lowering the Mini, I wonder if I can do it in less than an hourr????? I should start a thread for local people near me, " I will lower your Mini for $95 bucks" It would be nice to have the extra cash for more mods.

 

Too bad you weren't from NY $95 is a killer deal...
