PROMINI Billet Stress Bar

Anybody played with this yet?

http://www.promini.com/product-exec/product_id/4240/

Price keeps coming down too. On Sale: $152.95

I've got a credit with a local PROMINI reseller, so it will either be this or their original tubular brace.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

reminds me of the m7 brace?

it says it protects against mushrooming - this mean their original bar doesnt?

Think we need promini's input on this. sending them a pm

You know, I think you're right. This is the only image/angle i've seen of the PROMINI and I had to question.
I just did a side by side with some pics of the M7 brace and they look pretty close.
Any thoughts on the $46.05 price difference?

I was all set to order one but people are having problems with clearance with the M7 bar. If the Promini is the exact same design then I guess I'll just get the M7 reinforcement plates.

Thought I would try to rejuvenate this thread. Has anyone with an Alta CAI installed one of these? Both the Promini Billet Stress Bar and M7 brace appear to have the added bonus of heavier end plates to resist mushrooming. I know the M7 installation is "snug" but do-able. Will this Promini brace work with the Alta CAI, with the same fit issues as M7, or does the Promini Billet Stress Bar require a Promini CAI as does their other brace?

I've got the m7. They look identical...probably made by the same manufacturer.
