Yeah!!! All done. Got the H&R coilover kit on with minimal trouble. Started about midnite as we were doing 2 cars and I didn't get to my buddies until about 10pm. All went smoothly other than getting the front damper bodies to slide into the wheel carrier sleeves. Bound a bit on the first couple of tries and then went okay.

Setup may be a bit too low in the front. I will have to see after it settles. The back seems spot on. I'll try to post some picture up tomorrow after work

Thanks again for all the help. The intial ride impressions are about the same amoutn of body roll as with stock struts and H-Sport springs, but much less harsh over the rough roads. No noises or clunks. The Helix camber plates went on perfectly. Now all I need is an alignment!!

Probably Stuttgart. $100 4 wheel. Maybe a few extra bucks to set up 2 camber settings in the front. I think I am lower than you now Steve!

I may need to raise the back a bit as the drop links for my sway are right on the trailing arm for the susp now. Not rubbing yet, but......

No creaks or noises and much mor comfortable than my prior setup! Man I am stoked!!!!

You can always install adjustable end links. The rear bar ends should be pretty close to horizontal at rest.

Have the WMS adjustables. It is simply that the sway bar endlinks are long enough and the angle of the WMS droplinks are "out" enough with the car as low as it is for them to almost rub. I can't see any flaking of metal or rub marks on them or the trailing arms after 2 days of driving so I don't think that they rub, but just gonna keep an eye on it.

You're a doctor, if you get sick don't you get free drugs or something? Now go take some quick snaps ... then you'll also have proof that it does rain here sometimes

These are some lower priced solutions, but what about ride quality? Anyone have experience w/ these?

Never even heard of these before. Just from appearances though I would stay away unless you get some personal reports of good results. Are these sleeve-overs/cupkit style or true coilovers???

Well I measured the drop from the ground to the seam where the bonnet meets the side panels at 60cm. That is after I raised it ~1cm from the pictures. iw asn't rubbing at all, but it was low enough for me to worry about pulling a flair off if I cornered too hard. plus it is okay for shows, but for AutoX it is too low!

I actually have the set near the top of the adjustment range. You could go way too low with the H&R's. the estimate of 0.5-1.8" is conservayive from H&R. It can be a lot more.

Sent you a PM. As far as installation goes it was very straight forward. Took about 2 hours to do all 4 corners. Including putting it back up on the jack to raise the car off the oil pan.

Lots of opinions with any part you buy. Incidently the cars looks sick!!
Do a few searches and you can probably get enough info to make a small novel worth of information.

A lot also depends on budget and the drivers particular needs. I went with the V2's because of my shop discount basicly. I was just going to get the variant 1 but i figured for the price why not add dampening adjustability, too.

Bang for the buck you may wanna check out the Megan coilovers. There were a few issues in the beginning with them but it seems the smoke has somewhat cleared and the problems were solved. They are still somewhat in their infancy but if they do the trick then they do it for a nice price and camber plates are include.

Basically I have a lot of friends with H&R stuff on their dubs with very few issues. The only guy I know personally with KW's on his car has had issues with them with less than 9 months of use. Though many others have used them without problems.

It is all about what you are looking for. The V2 do have the adjustable dampening. I just decided this was overkill for my daily driver.

BTW Koni builds the KW dampers, just as Bilstein builds the H&R dampers.

Talk to someone directly who has the Megan's. This thread descended to a debate about them earlier, and lets avoid repeating that here. My personal opinion is if you want a deal on camber plates and coils they offer a huge value. If you don't need camber plates or already have them, as I did, you can get a btter overal; coil for the same investment.

MSRP has always been some extremely insane amount. Street price hasn't changed much (if any) from what I've seen. It think it's just a ploy to make the street price seem like a better value.

Anyone that would even consider paying MSRP has more money than sense. For that much dough you should be getting aluminum bodies and at least two damping adjustments.
