Suspension Which Coilovers?

My good intentions aside, this is no longer about personal/subjective evals of coilovers systems the comment writer has used. It is a debate. Not what I intended, but typical of NAM.
Thanks for all the input. Will let those of you whom care to know, know what I do end up getting.

Then tell me about the thorough street testing that led to a product being released with numerous failures on the first installs.
They do look nice.
You want me to dig up valving specs? Ok I will get the Bilstein specs and you get the Megan specs.
Again I didn't have to cut a hole in my body after removing interior pannels so I could adjust my settings. Do you still really think that the Megans were designed as a MINI specific piece? Have fun with your 12 year MINI perforation warranty now that you made a great place for road salt to enter.
You bought what you bought and I got something different. I just think mine are better quality. You think yours are better so in 50k miles we should come back and have a real world discussion about expected life span. Enjoy your set up and I will enjoy mine. If you are willing I will let you drive mine and I will drive yours sometime in the spring.
Well back to the airport so I can be near the Foam Fire truck

You can drive mine any time you like - preferrably at the track.
Comparing valving and spring cycling etc is a proposed future act with an unknown outcome. My beef here is with folks making judgements about a product they have no experience with, and that is it. Further, the two systems discussed are completly different - based soley on the type of springs.
A new system comes along, the vender asks us for design input, follows up on our suggestions, builds it, has a problem, fixes it and all those folks with it that I have talked with are extremely happy. Durability is an unknown, but I'll have 60K and a dozen track days on whatever I buy within a year - I havn't purchased anything yet. The Corvette wasn't riding on PSS9s, one of the subject systems being discussed.
This has been really amusing, but...
back to coilovers...
I thought I had a satisfactory setup with just HSports but the ride is really starting to get to me. Pretty rough. From what I remember, the stock springs were not much better, still rough on small bumps, but the stock handled large bumps better than the HSports.
I'm looking into a system that will maybe see a track day or two a year, but mostly for street comfort and the ability to change to track ready with a couple twists for an event or mountain twisties.
The PSS9, from what I have read and looked at, is the clear choice for my application. Helix's price is awesome on it, and it would cost as much as new wheels and tires, which I was about to do anyway.
I would do the FSDs, but I really love the look of the drop with HSports and I don't want to go back to stock springs.
The JCWs are really reasonably priced, for OEM parts, and I can order them for $730 shipped off ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT ) Do the JCW units even compare to aftermarket units?
Any advice is welcome?

progressive rate springs are ideally suited to public road conditions and Bilstein makes a great product...I've not experienced the PSS9s.
I'm going to guess that Onasled has more track and road miles on these than most and he loves them.

Even Helix has raised their price. They would not be able to honor the $1580 that was listed on the website yesterday, and if you look today the price is much higher.
I went with the H&R's. Probaby stiffer than the Bilsteins but for $600 difference they will work great for me. Will show some pics once I get them installed.
Kudos to Johnathan at worldone performance for running these down for me and getting me a great price.

Just my .02 cents
I bought my Bilstein SP's from that guy on eBay - he smoked everyone else's price... shipped fast. Warranty is through Bilstein anyway, not the dealer...
You never know, but I see them go all the time on eBay for $1400-1500...
