Suspension Show pics of your lowered MINI S!!!
Werd!! I've been wanting to get one for my car by simply getting a custom one done with the letters/numbers on my FL license plate, but I don't think that'll fly with the cops lol...
Scuderia - how does your friend have a euro plate? Looks nice. Mk5 is looking good too, although it could go a little lower..

PS you cant give ride height reccomendations if you are installing h-sports
just kidding
P.S. Not cool! LOL... H-Sports are temporary, once the funds for the iForged 18s and coils are in check, you better believe my car will be tuckin' 18s w00t.. Finally got a job so just give me a few months to save, they're not cheap you know... BTW what coils do you recommend for like a 2-3" drop? I don't really care about the performance as much as I do looks cause I'm not a "weekend racer."
their running h sport springs as well but mine is still a half inch lower im acually tire squatting, again very strange!!!!
you can see in my drawing i made of my mini in my sig its that low people think i have coil overs but its just springs i was thinking my hats were different but i quickly dismissed that idea!!

Hmm I'm thinking of maybe running the US tag in the hatch window.

I know quite a few people who run the US tag in the window.....you technically can get in trouble for it.....but i think you could pretty easily argue your way out of it or atleast let the cop give you a warning with a promise that you will move it back.
Plate in window is illegal... it has to be on the outside of the vehicle and illuminated.
and about the H-sport springs sitting lower then others, it's probably true, when I had those mine sat lower than others in pictures also.

the only reason why i stated that was all the other cars in my club who ran h-sports mine still sat lower even after a new set was installed it still sat lower witch points to something different in the car not the springs!
Totally just kidding around with ya....In terms of what coils....dont really know. KW V1's might fit the bill. You wont be able to manage a 2-3 inch drop with 18s though. Too much wheel and tire to get that kind of drop. I think i barely hit 3" and i have super small 15s rocking lower pro tires.

Konky, I know it is but it just looks so damn sweet/clean, I will have a euro plate but with real/registered plate numbers...
4gazm, in your user cp just go to my gallery and upload more photos. If not you can attach pics in your post. And if not you can PM me for my e-mail and send me a couple and I'll post them up for you...
LOL I know you were kidding... Hmm yea I was afraid about that drop, but fj0 says he's closed to maxxed out his H&R's, so thats got to be close to 2 inches. Although he's running 18x7.5's... Oh well, iForged will have to do some hw to give me the right offset I guess... What coils are you running? Also, any recent pics of your ride? Always enjoy seeing those, oh so low haha... getting tired of seeing all these "mini ridin' high" pics (including my own LOL)

I'm rocking Megans but you know about those....they suit me fine, but we will see how they handle on the autox when spring comes. New wheels are in the mix as well...the rewinds are already sitting in someone else's garage. This is my car's thread linked to the page with the most recent photos which i dont know if you've seen. Lots of other pics and reading if you're ever bored. http://www.motoringunderground.com/f...p?t=357&page=8
I can't wait till spring... my poor car is getting the **** kicked out of him.

This is my ride, a Singapore registered MCS with Bilstein Sport shocks and Eibach springs (which states a 30mm drop on the box), on holiday with me in North Thailand on the Mae Hong Son Loop (the South East Asian version of your Dragon, but 750 km long with 1867 bends!):

When I first put the new suspension on, it was harsh and I was getting some rubbing from the rear on sharp compressions at faster speeds. I initially regretted my decision. After about 1,000 kms though, the suspension has become far more compliant and supple. The handling has improved enormously (9 second improvement in lap time at my favourite track due to suspension change, 16" rims and my new love, Yokohama AD07s!) and corners flat though travel on a very bumpy road still leaves a bit to be desired. I do scrape slightly my front lip on larger road humps.
All in, I would also recommend this set up. Works for me!

Photoshop lower it for me and you'll see a pic of my car lowered...
