SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
I just lowered my car on H&R's. I really want wheel spacers for a little "poke", I am confused on exactly how big I should go. Has anybody done bigger spacers on the back than the front? Say 5mm on the front and 10mm on the rear? I know this is popular with the BNZ, BMW crowd. I wonder how it would look on the MINI.
What are the best spacers for the money? Most affordable? Its hard to swallow spending $150.00, but it is a pretty important part to get right.
I am running 17" TD PR 1.2's, H&R springs, and 215/45/17 F-1 gsd3's.
BTW, I have been looking through this thread for the last 2.5 hrs. Every car on here looks soooo SICK.
Kalbone, nice i like it tucked under the fenders. Rally, still has some finder gap, but i know you are on 16s so you are probably low as hell.
Ground clearence is overrated anyways
15s
The problem i have is that i want to run such a low offset for a little poke so tucking wont come until i start stretching tires (which is gonna happen this spring once i pick up a new set of rims that are wide and lower offsets)
I can put it a little lower, but with the 35mm offset it causes a few problems trying to tuck
Nice pics. eastsideMINI those wheels look really nice. What kind are they?
Sorry man, I just saw your post. Those are custom made Kodiakracing wheels they are also very light and strong. A lot of racing team uses them. They were made to clear my Wilwood 13"BBK, Bilstein PSS9 coilover and mini hub size.
