turn in help?

I really like the way my car is handling but it could be a little better. It is almost dead neutral with a slight understeer. My rear bar is in the middle and I have a front bar as well...set softest. The PSS9s are set at 5 in the rear and 3 in front. I know if i tighten the rear bar that will induce oversteer but I am concerned too much. I drive this car almost everyday....the lexus stays at home.....and at highway speed around 285 I don't want the car to be twitchy. I'm thinking loosen the front PSS9s and tighten down therear but I don't know. I was going to experiment over the weekend but I thought I would get some input from you all... I just want a little more.....I also don't want to wear out tires too fast.......any suggestions

Alignment changes make a big difference. I'm running 1/8" toe out in front and 0 toe in back. My Mini turns like you wouldn't beleve but the trade-off is that you have to pay more attention when driving. Sneeze on the highway and you can end up 3 lanes over (an exageration). Think of it as walking around on your toes all the time.

Do you have stock camber in the front? Try more aggressive set up like -2.5 front camber. My setup is very similar to your setup, see my signature.

My alignment setup is -2.75 front camber, -1.75 rear camber, 0 toes front and rear, front bar at soft, rear at mid. My car turn in real good at both high and low speed corners. However, my car feel a little hairy mid highspeed corner .

Cheers

I would just soften the front dampers a tad and see where it takes you.
but are those Bils both bound and rebound adjustable? If only rebound
it won't do as much.

but I think you're going to end up changing the swaybar setting.

This is an area where one man's "turn-in" is another's "How did I get in this lane?"

FWIW - I run negative 2.0 in front with 0 toe, and negative 1.6 in back, with 1/16 toe-in. Used it for street and auto-x for over 20,000 miles. 15 inch 205/50-15 for street, 225/45-15 for auto-x.

H-Sport Comp. rear bar, mid position. Front Koni yellows set to either street or auto-x as needed. Rear Konis left on middle setting.

Tires wear nicely on the street, yet it will almost change lanes if you just think about it....

I second that - nice street geometry. This is what I'm currently running, however I have the h-sport front bar on soft and I want to try the rear on full stiff to balance it out. Car still rolls a bit too much in the rear.

I didn't think them big ole nuts on the arms are capable of adjustment tolerances of 1/16"

It took a while to get it right. Don't know if it was cut and try.

The alignment shop does some pretty trick cars, including competition cars.

And for all I know, it could be that the computer printout was optimistic, but I've used them with great success and so have folks I've sent there.
