I installed a set of Tein S lowering springs on my car and when i turn the wheel to the right and i am doing more than 5mph, there is something rattling on the front driver side. ANybody have any thoughts? I am taking it in for an alignment, think that will fix the problem??
Alignment might be the problem. I recently lowered mine, and they did so a complete alignment. But from what you discribe, that rattling may go away after getting it aligned.
Exactly what I was going to say.... you probably just forgot to tighten up one of the endlinks. If thats not it, make sure that you arent getting any rubbing anywhere.
I couldn't get the alignment done the other day, so i have an appointment for tommorow, memorial day , my day off. But I took off the wheel and took off, then retightened the end links and it still makes the sound. I also made sure the abs, and brake lines were correctly placed. My friend thinks something is rubbing against my brakes. Any thoughts on this? BTW, thanks for all your help once again everybody I am kind of new to all this.
I find that many people do not get the top strut nut tight enough when using hand tools and the result is a rattle. I recommend an air wrench to tighten this nut if nothing else.

thanks everyone for your input. i got the car aligned and it runs like a champ, the mechanic said that the brake backing air intake was loose and that was what was rattling, who would have thunk it???
Actually, thats the way it should be done, just by someone who knows what they are doing. Or you could take a torque wrench to em once they are back in the car.
