Suspension KONI Coilovers IN STOCK!
In the likely event that the included springs on the Koni coil-overs aren't as good as the H-Sport springs, then yes, Koni Yellow's would be the much better purchase (at half the price of the coil-overs...assuming you don't need corner balancing capability).

I don't know the answer as to what the spring rates are but springs of this type, tapered, are typically only offered in one rate and and one length and if that's the case you could neither change rates or ride height except within the limited range of that spring. With my KW's I can get many different spring rates and severl lenghts plus with tender springs I have a ride height range of probably 4-6".
OK I'm back,
Height adjustment - about 0.5 to 1.5" lower than stock.
Adjustments - **** from top in the fronts, fully compress & turn in the rear.
Spring rates - not published. KONI says Progressive springs are optimized for these dampers, providing better ride quality (at the softest setting) than stock while improving handling performance.
This KONI setup is for the street, with available adjustments for those looking for a 'sportier ride'. If you take long drives, have a spouse &/or little ones, live in a area where the roads aren't the best, AND you still want your MINI to handle better than stock - this kit is for you.
Let me know if you have further questions.

This is a common method of adjustment for shocks in the european market. Since this coilover system is targeted for the street MINI, it is anticipated that the owner will rarely changing the settings once set at the desired level, unlike a track MINI. However for those who wish to experiment, removing the rear shocks is not difficult.
By fully compressing the shock, the mechanism for adjustment is engaged. Starting from a fully 'soft' position (full counter-clockwise), you turn the shock body clockwise the desired amount to stiffen the rebound. Once set, you can release the shock back to full extension.
Hope this helps.
