Looking to buy Lower stress brace issues

Hello. I've been trying to buy a lower stress bar/braces but it has proven to be very difficult to find one. Way Motor Works no longer sells the X-brace (apparently they're looking for a new manufacturer).

Madness Motorworks is out of stock (they took 3 days to tell me this after I had already paid).

Ultra Racing is back ordered as per ECS Tuning.

OMP only makes the small lower front.

What gives?

Are there any other options out there? I looked at M7 tuning, it looks ok but I don't want to deal with the installation difficulty (drilling at an angle) or the fact that it may not allow a Milltek exhaust from being installed.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as this ^ guy was back in August last year.

The underside of the R53 is a mess, & theres a wide variety of solutions. Currently in talks only with a couple of shops ove what would be the best solution, will be a while before the one I decide to go with gets my car. But hopefully will be posting said part here later in the year.

^^^ IMO, no need for such chassis bracing on R53 vs R52. If so, would have been included within OEM 2006 GP equipment if not also part of the optional JCW Suspension Pkg subsequently incorporated as part of GP specs. Disagree that the "underside of R53 is a mess", unless yours specifically is so. Basis of comments and opinions matter. Likewise, helpful to state specific objectives up front for context.

Just these, will take some time to get in. Ultra racing.

M7 Speed. I have the M7 Speed USS on my r52. Its a huge upgrade for the Convertible chassis. Feels better driving on stock suspension. When i switched to coil overs, the ride smoothed out even more. I feel like the R53 is good but the R52 just has too much flex and very raw. Suspension helps, but braces improve.

Here are a few suggestions to explore:
  1. Check with Local Auto Shops: Reach out to local auto parts shops or garages that specialize in your car's make and model. They may have the part you're looking for or be able to source it for you.
  2. Online Forums and Marketplaces: Visit automotive forums or online marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, or even Facebook Marketplace like<!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->https://essayusa.com/nursing-paper-writing-service/. These platforms often have individuals or small businesses selling car parts, including braces.
  3. Aftermarket Part Manufacturers: Look for aftermarket part manufacturers that specialize in performance car parts. Companies like Eibach, Whiteline, or Megan Racing produce various suspension components, including stress bars.
  4. Contact the Manufacturer Directly: If you have a specific brand or model in mind, contact the manufacturer directly to inquire about availability or alternative options.
  5. Consider Custom Fabrication: If you can't find a pre-made part, consult with a local fabrication shop that specializes in automotive components. They might be able to custom-make a stress bar for your car.
  6. Join Car Enthusiast Communities: Participate in online forums or social media groups dedicated to your car's make and model. Fellow enthusiasts may have recommendations or know where to find the part you need.
Remember to research and ensure compatibility with your vehicle before making any purchases. I hope you find a suitable solution for your lower stress bar/braces soon!

My question is...WHY ?

Do you understand just how stiff these little cars actually are ? They don't need...any additional...weight...added to them ! Why spend the money AND, add unnecessary weight to the car ? Additional weight is much more detrimental to overall performance, than stiffening bars are a positive thing, for keeping out any "possible" body twisting !

Additional weight is BAD for "power to the ground" ! Add a bunch of weight, now you need to make more horsepower to counteract the additional weight.

I added the OMP lower bar but I tend to agree with OCR. It may make you feel better to add all that hardware but you won't feel much difference in handling.
