MINI Madness lower stress bar

Has anyone tried this lower brace?
http://www.mini-madness.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=309
I am researching a lower brace and would like to know if anyone has tried this item. I have a GP and because of the under paneling I would not be able to fit the TSW X brace or the M-7 without modification. That would leave my choices to the OMP, Madness, or GTT. The GTT, although very good quality, would work in the same reguard as the OMP at substantially more $.
I would like to know your feelings on the Madness bar in terms of handling as well as NVH.
Thanks, Steve

looks good, I would assume that it performs the same as the TSW and M7. The question that I have is, Wouldnt stiffening the front create more understeer? These are good concept's and great part's for that matter. But where are the test results, other then " It feels alot better".

just my .02

The Madness one uses just about the same attachment points as the TSW. The OMP would probably give the most bang for the buck unless you are planning on tracking the car more.

Sorry to be contrarian, but the TSW does not attach at the same points as the MM brace. Yes, they share two of the four, but the TSW brace goes backwards towards the rear and mounts to the rear plates that you can see in the MM photo, whereas the MM brace goes forward to mount at points under the engine.
Oddly, the M7 brace uses the front two mount points of the MM, and the rear two mount points of the TSW!
So, three distinct ways to achieve the same objective.
In addition, the TSW brace is an "X" shape, not a rhombus like the MM, or the M7.
Personally I feel that one design is superior to the others...

.....I said just about. I am aware that the TSW is a larger and better designed lower brace, but for a decent improvement the lower OMP is a very good design and at a very good price.

I think

NitroMiniS was going to try it. But I'm not sure if he ever did. If that's your only option without mods, I think you will be happy with the change. But like ScottInBend says, the OMP is at good price-performace point as well.
