22mm Alta rear sway bar setting

Will be installing this sway bar soon, and am wondering which setting is best, when I first got it I was definitely going with the middle setting but now I'm leaning towards the stiffest setting since I've started to do autocrossing, thoughts?

Best thing about it being adjustable you can do just that and find the setting you like best for various activities.
Here's Alta's chart on degree of stiffness for each setting:

I've decided not to solo my li'l guy and just enjoy motoring the crooked roads so mine is the 19 MM set at it's stiffest setting. It DOES NOT sway.

Stiffest setting is going to make the car loose.

So what you're saying is that the rear wheels will break loose more easily?

Get acquainted with the conditions creating under steer and over steer. You can google them.
Here's a humorous description of the results:

Since the 22mm bar will be MUCH stiffer than stock, I would suggest initial setting to be on the softest hole, closest to the end of the bar. As you get used to the difference in handling, start moving the end links to the tighter settings.

I would still suggest the middle setting.

Also make sure you use all the grease that comes with the bushings as we see them wear out quickly and the bushing will start making noise as the Alta bushings don't have a grease channel to hold it in the bushing.

When I installed mine, I had it at the middle setting then went autocrossing the next day. Prior to that, I autocrossed on a stock swaybar.

I would stick to the middle setting. In my opinion, it has just a little too much of oversteer but not too much that it gets you in trouble. That swayed (pun intended) me to keep it in the middle setting. Now that I am lowered on spec springs and have adjustable rear camber arms, there's still a touch of throttle off oversteer or when braking. but less than with stock springs. The stiffest might be too stiff and make the back end loose/harder to control, but I haven't tried that nor do I have the need to. I am very happy with the middle setting regardless other suspension mods.

We have the 22mm Alta rear bar set to the middle setting, fairly neutral, lift off oversteer is just as easy to induce as power on understeer, though it tends to be a little more oversteer than understeer. Good for street and occasional autocross. If you need it stiffer you can adjust the setting very quickly.

Thank you for the input, you among others have said the middle setting works best and it's a good balance, when I ordered the swaybar I was about 80% toward the the middle setting from what I was reading about the Alta, with the input from everyone I'm 100% onboard, I occasionally autocross so it should be perfect,
