FS: NM Lowering Springs

I've had them for about a year and absolutely loved them. Just recently invested in some JCW coils so there is no need for them anymore. PM me if interested!

I don't mind keeping them around the house and will probably turn them into a cool table or something if nobody is interested in them.

what are you asking for them?

did you have the squeaking issue that some owners are reporting?

Here's his post from another thread:

]Hi, I just recently got mine taken off recently for the same reason. I've had them for a little over a year and loved them except the the creaking got progressively worse. It is partially due to the fact that it puts more stress on your struts. Ive narrowed it down to two main things, your top strut mounts are experiencing extra strain (may not be the best word to describe this) and the second is that your springs are in fact rubbing a little up top beyond the point that the sleeve can reach. Like I said, i just recently took mine off and replaced with stock and the sound is completely gone. I invested into jcw coils but I did love the springs for the time that I've had them. Let me know if you have any questions [/QUOTE]

Hi. Yes I have the springs and yes they did creak. It could have been due to improper installation but I can't be sure. There are small marks at the top where the spring was rubbing against the strut mount and I have pictures available upon request. Other than the noise I have had zero issues with them and have absolutely loved them.

In my experience, creaky springs on any vehicle were due to the top hat not being installed tight enough. If you torque them to spec's and they still squeak, just give them a little more.

so far i have not had any issues with the squeking. i packed the top hat bearings on Jerrys (NM) advice. The factory bearings are very cheap, plastic bearing housing and not very packed with grease. So far so good.

there is def more suspension noise with the new springs as opposed to stock, but that is to be expected.

overall i am super happy with the price to performance value on this mod!

But now you're selling them due to noise?
