Thoughts on lowering springs on stock setup?

I was considering coilovers but was just curious on hearing if anybody has lowering springs on stock setups?

I was thinking about lowering an inch or less. Can the stock parts handle this? Im not going to track it at all, just normal daily driving

1 inch is fine. I would wait until swift has a set for the F56.

Ok great. I always did this on my Subarus so I figured I'd get opinions here. I was looking to get springs and I might as well replace the rear sway bar since everything will be off back there

MiniMania has a kit that includes everything.
NM spring, NM RSB, and NM adjustable control arms. I'm leaning towards that myself.

NM springs

B46/48 (2.0T)

Front: 33mm (1.30") & Rear: 31mm (1.22")
B38 (1.5T)

Front: 30mm (1.2") & Rear: 30mm (1.2")

or the H&R ( 1.1" Front / 1.1" Rear ) ones. Depend on the drop.

The NM are one BO right now but should be coming back soon.

Awesome, thank you! I was looking at the H&R ones but I didnt know if they fit my Mini. There is no 2016 option when I select the year

Pm me an email. It isn't that much lower but they look better in my opinion and I've heard that other owners from previous gen mini's have liked nm better.

I've heard nothing but good things about the NM springs. It's probably the route I'll take if I can't scrape up the cash for a good coil over system. I believe the NM springs would be a good match for my sport suspension.

I had the H&R for 1 month. Couldn't stand the ride. Took it back and had NM installed and have been pretty happy. Maybe the H&R are not as bad if you're not running run-flats.

I'm quite happy with my NM springs and 25mm rear sway. Paired with the stock sport suspension struts it rides great. I was planning to replace them with coilovers at some point but since I like the ride height I'll probably just swap in some Koni yellows around 50k miles

That's exactly what I was thinking about doing too
