KW V1 Problems, advice needed.

Recently brought these for my R56 Cooper s, 2nd hand. Came to fit them this morning and noticed that one of the mounts is in the wrong place.

It seems to be the mount for the drop links obviously it doesn't fit.

Any ideas or advice greatly appreciated!

Also, just measured up the rears, and compared to the OEM ones they're around 30mm shorter as a whole so have the same problem again... :(!

My first guess is that you should have adjustable end links, but I don't know if they will adjust short enough for you.

Did you try installing them, or just put the normal shocks back in?

Are you sure they are for the 2nd gen MINI? For the front coilovers, adjustable end-links are absolutely required.

They look pretty rough. I hope the damping characteristics are still intact. Hard to tell without a shock dyno.
