We are finding great success in using Eibach camber plates with the STs. We do recommend that you stay within a reason camber adjustment so you do not cause damage to the rod of the coilover. This goes for any coilover system.

If you plan on visiting the track more than 4-5 times a year I would highly suggest KW V2s or V3s. Again you can use the Eibach camber plates.

Here is our ST with Eibach Camber Plates deal

You don't "need" damper adjustment for the track.

I would be happy with better fixed damping then damping that adjusts from crappy and soft to crappy and stiff.

If you are tracking it then yes I would recommend camber plates.

The ST will be softer for sure. Decent valving, but soft progressive spring rates.

BC/Megan are fairly similar to each other and will be firmer. They come with a lot of bells and whistles at the expense of the quality of the valving. I would recommend swapping the springs for Swifts, Eibach, and Hyperco. The standard springs are not very good. Done right they can be okay.

K Sport and D2 are similar to each other and complete junk.

Thanks for answering my question. I think I probably would add the chamber plates at a later time. I just love everything about the STs! Especially being the sister made project by KWs make it that much more enticing.

Whoa, why do you feel this way about KSport???
Only reason I ask is because I just picked up a set from another member last week.

I don't have any personal experience with them but if you google "ksport quality" the results aren't very confidence inspiring.

The least expensive decent coilover out there is the ST Suspensions.
BC, Megan, K-Sport, VMAXX and so on are cheap coils. You get what you pay for.

I don't race or take my Mini to the track at all. I wanted the look of it being dropped as well as the every day handling around local roads. Nothing major at all.
Think I'll be ok with these KSports?

You will be ok. But I only heard bad things for K-Sports. I would rather go with BC. Even vmaxx. But honestly your best bet are STs. The suspension source has em for a good price plus 10% off now until march 31st

I should have done more research. I would obviously love to go with another brand now but I'm sitting on these KSports now. I was waiting until the winter was officially done here before I threw them on.
Hmmmm........

Look into Fortune Auto for a middle of the road compromise
