Picking up an 08 S and need to be LOW, which coilovers will get me on the ground?
I am looking for a set of coilovers that will get me about an inch off the ground, I will likely be running 16" saw blades or possibly some 17' BBS but need to get the ride height first so I can measure for fitment. What do you guys suggest?
Check out the Slammed MINI thread. What about Megan's or KWs?

better coilovers have stainless parts...the cheap ones have steel....add just s bit of salt...in the air from the ocean or a winter...and might not be the best way to save a few bucks...same thing..hit a pothole...some coil-overs bust. Cheap, and coil-over should not me in the same sentence...you will get exactly what you pay-for.
Megans don't go low enough, I will look into KW's. I'm not trying to be cheap, I'm looking for a quality product that will allow me to go as low as possible.

What are you trying to achieve by going that low? You are going to lose handling and won't gain a thing from it except a car that can't go over a small bump.
Coilovers are designed to increase handling, not simply lower the car. If you want to get that low, you may have to go custom. VMaxx will likely get you that low, but don't expect performance out of it.

I'm going to assume you're going for stance and not for functionality... so you may as well look into bags. Gonna have to replace the endlinks as well, but bags are probably easiest way to get it there. None of them are going to run comfortable at that ride height so that feature is irrelevant.

Like you said though, functionality and ride are out the window.
Well if anything, the pics will come out good lol.

We sell several different brands. I would def recommend going with something stainless since you are in WI. But I also would not plan on going that low as we've already seen broken axles from that.
