KW Suspensions Coilovers for 2011+ 2WD

Hey forum members. I have KW looking into getting a kit for the US 2WD models. If the cars are the same as UK it could be very soon as KW Germany already has these. I will keep you posted!

Any word, Kris? Are these gonna be the v3 or something else? Actually hoping it is so we can tune 'em for street comfort.

Nothing yet. Is anyone interested in trying the set for AWD and getting me some feedback? You can get 50% off

Speaking only for myself, it would depend on what the differences are between the AWD and the FWD struts. If it is just heavier springs on the AWD, then it might be worth a go, since the difference can probably be adjusted out. If it is a structural difference in the design of the strut, I'd be a little more leery. I imagine a look at the OEM struts between the All4 and regular S could tell us if one strut would work with another.

Edit: Did not see the 50% discount part when I wrote my original post.

As Hujan pointed out, if the difference really is just spring rates I'll try it (if the offer stands with the 50% discount)

Hujan is now our test bunny lol. Thanks for the people that were interested in working with us.

Now we await the feedback from Hujan on the fitment and ride quality!

Coming Soon!

Got the kit from Kris very quickly and in pristine condition. I got the KWs on the car last weekend and this week I had the car corner balanced by a local shop (Midnight Oil Motors) that mostly works on BMWs with a bit of MINI work too.

So far, I can confirm the fitment is perfect! Absolutely no issues installing whatsoever. I will continue to evaluate ride quality for a bit before doing a detailed review, but suffice it to say that I'm happy . . . very, very happy! In a nutshell, it's better than OEM comfort with all the benefits of a dedicated track/performance suspension. It's magic! More to follow soon.

Oh, and a teaser pic to hold you over until the full review (turn the brightness up on your screen, though)!

Stay tuned!

Something is definitely wrong in that photo!

It looks like a garage, but it's so clean and empty. Where do you store all your junk?

The part number Hujan ordered was 35220096 ($2399.99). KW has it listed at fitting the ALL4 models. Currently KW is out of stock but can have drop shipped from Germany if you are in a rush.

That looks great. One question but unrelated to the suspension, where did you get the smoked side marker light cover? I have been looking for those for a while now. Thanks.
