Would lower springs void warranty?

Hi,
I got NM springs. I may get bearing issue or something since the rear pass side kinda got noisy.
Not sure they will deny if I take my car in with those springs.
Thanks!

For most things, no, but if you get a bad axle, cv-joint, strut, shock, top strut mount , or ball joint,
they may have a good case to say the lowering springs may have contributed and deny problems with those items.
Shouldn't cause bearing wear if you have stock offset wheels, unless you're bottoming
out the suspension more than with the original springs, but they could try to say so.

the dealer will void your warranty at any given chance. The service dept & Service writers are there to make money. Warranty work pays less than half the shop rate. Dealers dont particularly like 'warranty work'. So, if you have an issue that can be remotely related to any mod, it will not be covered.

ie Random noise/rattle. = Source from stiffer/lower performance springs. designed outside of factory parameter, not a MINI approved product.

Knowing your service writer/dept & greasing palm 'can' work.

Be honest,....clear your consciense,....suck up for what you've done to your vehicle, and "pay-the-piper". Afterwards, put a deposit on your Man-Up card

They can only void your warranty if they can prove the aftermarket part is the cause of your failure.
With suspension mods you usually only have to consider the shock warranty voided, everything else should be covered.

Appreciate the info guys. Considering 1.2" drop and 18" aftermarket on a 12 S with 10k. Makes me nervous

Always nice to see a vendor telling people to lie. Remember that folks so that if you have to return a part you broke to these people, they will accept it.

They will try to blame an aftermarket part if they can and to be honest, they don't have to prove a damn thing like people say they do. (seen it plenty of times) Bottom line is that you would likely have to sue and it would cost a lot more for you in the long run and they know that. If you are concerned about your warranty then modding a car that is under one is not for you.

We make our TSW springs in black just to minimize the dealer bothering you.
