Suspension My lifted mini is done!

Once again, this was something that I was seriously worried about. But turns out that the angles of the axles are not nearly as bad as you would think.

Thanks, next time you see it feel free.I've actually been interested in seeing the size difference over a stock or lowered mini.I've got 11.5" or height in the front a 12" in the back so it's pretty up there. And do I just stop by or would I call first?

This is awesome, I wasn't able to read through all of this, but I picked up on a few things.
1. That flex in the front looks great for a car! Have you tried this on some rocks yet? Skid plates in your future??
On that note, I noticed someone suggesting what looked like cheap step rails... DO NOT GO THIS ROUTE! Those will cause more harm them good, if you're actually looking for something that will offer your rockers some protection you should try to get some legit rock sliders fabbed up from some strong steel since I'm positive no one makes them for a MINI.
Also, on that lowered Jeep....

Regarding the exhaust, have you looked at doing the "one ball mod"? Search "one ball" "resonator delete" "exhaust mod" on the forums here (if you don't find it, lemme know and I can help you find some good threads). Should be pretty easy for you to do (or get done), and will beef your sound up a bit.
Also, how's your gas mileage? Preferably an actual calculated average, not the OBC. And what's road-driving feel like?
Great work though, man. Looks really cool.

To start off, that jeep is awesome!I wan't to try some light rock crawling so skid plates are a definite desire and so are some beefy rocker guards.I know exactly what you're saying about those side steps, they offer no protection whatsoever.
I've thought about the one ball but have never actually heard it in person.Does it sound good?
Gas mileage is around the same as it was,I don't know the actual numbers on that but there was no negative impact. And the it feels perfectly fine to drive. It still goes around corners surprisingly well and it's still nice and peppy.

They were the smallest mud terrains that I could find.I didn't want to go the path that the red mudder did where the "offroad" tires that they put on,were the same exact size as a stock set of mini cooper tires. It's just an illusion with them. And I'm going to be moving to Colorado in the coming weeks so you better believe she's gonna really get tested up in pikes peak

Just for peace of mind for anyone that is also crazy enough to do this. For all of the people that said everything would slowly start failing like cv axles and everything else,my "alpha mini" as I call it made it 2,000 miles from Massachusetts to colorado with no problem at all.And then another 15,000 miles after that and shes still running beautifully. And it runs trails pretty well too.
