sorry I can't quote that. I've seen prices as cheap as $59 and as much as $200

Oveall, I'm very happy with these springs (purchased from Achtuning - great guys!)

Original spring wire diameters:
  • Front = 13.29mm
  • Rear = 13.04mm
NM Engineering spring diameters:
  • Front = 12.86
  • Rear = 12.3mm
Keep in mind that these measurements were made with the powdercoating intact, so they are only for comparison purposes, but it's obvious there are some significant differences between stock and the NM springs.
  • Front springs
  • Rear springs

Original ride heights (ground to fender lip):
  • Front = 717.5mm
  • Rear = 724mm
New ride heights:
  • Front = 681mm
  • Rear = 682mm

Makes me want to run out an buy one right now!!!, Very nice looking, and this is coming from a guy who does not like SUVs of any kind, amazing what a few inches can do

It's not a bad idea to drive it for a week or two to let the springs settle, all springs tend to settle just a little.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on ordering these, but also came across the bump stop kit. As I'm not well versed in car suspension, what are these for?

Those bumps stops are to replace the stock bumpstops when you are lowering a MINI. That way you get extra shock travel, but still have a bumpstop in place.

They will keep it from allowing your tires to hit the top of your wheel well due to the shorter up-travel after lowering it.

(DOH. . .WMW beat me to it!)

Due to NM's strict price policy we can't do a group buy, plus the groups never pan out no matter how many say they are in before hand.
We do have these in stock and ready to ship if anyone wants them.

Bit the bullet and finally ordered. Will need to line up an installer when they get here (I'm not quite prepared to deal with springs on my own), but am excited for the mod.

so question.. I have the sport suspension.. I know they replaced with thicker front and rear bars, different shocks and springs. If I replace just the springs, will this give me the same amount of drop or can I expect a little less?? I unfortunately don't know what shocks and sway bars they put in the Sport package. But doing the math, the springs should only go about 1" all the way around.

Has anyone had issues with your alignment after putting the NM springs on? I lowered my Countryman a few weeks back, and went for an alignment, after 500 miles. The shop couldn't even come close to getting the rear camber right. I'm looking at buying a set of H-Sport Rear Control Arms to fix this issue, but I'm not 100% sure I need them. Thanks!

Sport suspension has 2 mm larger front bar, 1 mm larger rear bar. These don't affect ride height regardless of springs. Shocks (which damp suspension movement) don't change ride height normally. Sport springs give 1 cm lower ride height than base springs.

Well it doesn't seem to by my case. Look at my car side shot and front and rear wheels. It seems a lot higher than the rest of the countrymen out there!!

does your car have sports suspension, I've measured the gap between wheel and arch on mine (sports suspension) and a CM without it, there was an 8mm difference in the rear, 10mm front. It was also pretty similar between my sports suspension Clubman and a non sports suspension Clubman.

You should be ok owning a Countryman, it's not an SUV, labeling it one is ridiculous.

My measurements from road to wheel arch through hub center are 27 7/8" front avg., 27 13/16" avg rear. Variance side-to-side less than 1/8". This is with a stock 2012 ALL4, sport suspension, 17" wheels with OEM Conti run flats, 34 psi, 3/4 full of fuel, no passengers. It should be about the same for 18" wheel option as they are about the same overall diameter.

If your car is significantly higher than this, check to see if your dealer forgot to take the shipping spacers out of the springs!

Yes mine does! To me, the sport suspension on mine sits higher than other countryman's.. Thus thinking there is something with more than just the springs and sway bars.. Do I have different shocks too?
Thinking of this due to me lowering my ride, will mine be a bigger drop because I have the sport suspension or will mine be just 1.5"??

The shocks have different valving (base compared to Sport suspension), but shocks do NOT affect ride height. They are there to SLOW DOWN (damp) suspension movement.

Look at your springs above the wheel opening in front, and from under the rear bumper in back, to make sure there are no SPACERS between the coils.

Does anyone have any pics of what this looks like?? That way I know what it should look like and what it shouldn't.

DR61: What is the gap from the top of your tire to the bottom of your wheel well??

This is a rather inaccurate way to measure, as tire wear is a factor. However this gap in my car (new tires) is approx. 2 5/8" at the front wheels.
