Koni FSD - Who's got the best price?

Looking for a better ride - wife's car. Might even go with Justa springs along with the Koni's.

From what I read and have been PM'd by helpful members here. That's the best it's going to get. Better ride than the Bilstein B6 HD's even.

Conti 16" runflats are there to stay for safety, and ride as good as any from what I read. So no point in telling her to ditch them.

Looks like no Koni sale right now, but must be vendors here with a decent price.

Yep - I see that here........

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-off-sale.html

Best I have found today is $710 shipped......... and most are over $800 for the set.
(For 2nd Gen, 1st Gen $599 plus shipping).

http://jdmultimate.com/koni/koni_fsd...0/i-99245.aspx

Might be worth waiting for the next Koni 25% off sale.......

I found $630 here: http://www.helix13.com/mini/products/suspension-chasis

A middle ground between that price and the sale, provided shipping isn't terrible.

+1 on Scanner's post. I did the same and also added the Alta 19MM adjustable sway bar they had on sale at the time. Wow what a difference!
I mean, while you got the wheels and OE struts off, why not? ...or even the 22MM.
At the time the frieght on both was in the neighborhood of $80.00.

So how much for labor to install them? One dealer quoted me 6 hours @ $125/hr. is that a fair rate.

Just checking if anyone still has these on the 20% off sale. I found them at the Tire Rack on sale until the end of June 2013. Does anyone else have them still on sale?

Check some of the advertisers on NAM, often prices are similar. ECS Tuning, Way Motor Works, Mini Mania, etc. Support the companies that keep this forum going.

Have fun,
Mike

Got mine a few years ago from helix....
Had the best price at that point...
Shipping was pretty fast...box showed up in about 4 days (bought struts for a different car at an online discount place....took them about 2 weeks!).
Still loving them today!! A nice upgrade IMO for a daildriven street MINI.
